Job Summary
The Director of DCEPS Strategic Partnerships is responsible for providing leadership in developing and sustaining partnerships to support the college’s research and training efforts across both the professional studies and education programs. This position will help centralize efforts to identify, amplify, and sustain partnership initiatives throughout our partner schools, school divisions, industry, and community partners. This includes, but is not limited to, oversight of paid teacher pathways, including residencies, apprenticeships, Lab School teacher development initiatives, and other innovative approaches. This includes grant seeking and management, program administration, and stewardship of partnerships. The Director will collaborate with faculty and other partners to develop and maintain high-quality partnerships that advance the mission of the college.
- Master’s degree in fields related to programs in Darden College of Education and Professional Studies
- Considerable knowledge in effective interaction with school division teachers and administration, students, university faculty, other institutions and agencies, and state education personnel
- Considerable knowledge of high-need schools with diverse students and teachers
- Working knowledge of external grant administration (as PI or co-PI)
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Considerable experience in effective interaction with school division teachers and administration, students, university faculty, other institutions and agencies, and state education personnel

Preferred Qualifications
