POSITION: Instructor. This is a 12-month non-tenure-track position in the Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling beginning in August 2024. This position is renewable annually by the department. This faculty will be hired to support our Rehabilitation and Disability Studies program. Review of applications for the position will begin February 1, 2024; however, the search will remain open until the position is filled. 
 
The Department of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling is housed in the College of Education. The department houses undergraduate and graduate programs in Special Education, a doctoral program in Counseling Psychology (APA Accredited), and four CACREP accredited graduate programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, School Counseling, and a doctoral program in Counselor Education and Supervision. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Teaching three to four courses per academic semester and three courses in the summer
Ø Program coordination
Ø Assisting with program evaluation responsibilities
Ø Assisting with program development and curriculum responsibilities
Ø Providing advising to students
Ø Contribute to the department mission to integrate advocacy, social justice, cultural competence, and ethical practice into the preparation of allied and mental health professionals.
