Join our dynamic team at the French American School of Princeton as we seek a passionate and dedicated full-time STEM teacher for students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 8. We are looking for candidates with a strong quantitative background and a commitment to fostering an innovative and engaging learning environment.

No French language knowledge is required as the subject is taught in English.

Responsibilities:                                                                                                   

  • Develop engaging STEM curricula that inspire curiosity and exploration.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and instructional materials that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Administer and evaluate formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.
  • Utilize various educational technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Create hands-on learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide support to students, addressing their strengths and challenges.
  • Foster a culture of inquiry and collaboration in the classroom.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student growth.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field.

Knowledge of STEM best practices and a passion for innovative teaching methods.

3 years of teaching experience is a plus.

Empathy and strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong classroom management skills to create a safe and productive learning environment.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
