The Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling in the College of Education at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, associate/full professor position in Rehabilitation Counseling. The successful candidate will provide expertise and support to the residential and distance learning master’s and campus doctoral level CACREP-accredited programs in Rehabilitation Counseling and will coordinate the doctoral program. The appointment is a nine-month appointment, effective August 16, 2019.

This faculty member will teach a two-two course load for master’s students in residential and online programs and doctoral students in Rehabilitation Counseling, Education, Research, and Policy; engage with Rehabilitation Counseling faculty in program planning and course development; assist with measures for determining and evaluating student learning outcomes and dispositions; advise campus and distance learning master’s students; advise doctoral students; direct and serve on master’s and doctoral student thesis and dissertation committees; develop a programmatic research agenda; seek/submit applications for external funding for research and students; and provide service and engagement activities to the profession, department, college, and university. Summer teaching may be available and is optional.
