The Department of Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas in Denton invites applications for a 9-month appointment as a lecturer. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach courses in the field of Learning Technologies with an emphasis in Instructional Technologies, Computer Education and Cognitive Systems, Educational Computing, or Learning Technologies. The faculty member will teach four courses per semester or perform equivalent duties in place of one course as directed by the Department Chair. If the faculty member possesses a terminal degree (i.e., PhD or EdD), s/he will have the opportunity to teach doctoral courses and serve on doctoral advisory committees. Lecturers also participate in department activities and may serve on departmental and college committees. This position will support the technical skills needed in the areas of data communications, digital audio and video production, network administration and Internet services.
