The Department of Educational Psychology invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank to begin Fall, 2019. The position is for an applicant with expertise in gifted education and talent development. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of the department and growing the gifted and talented concentration through research, teaching, and mentoring of students. Instructional roles include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in gifted and talented education and educational psychology, in both traditional and online formats, and potentially at satellite locations. The successful candidate will be expected to sustain an ongoing research agenda in their area of specialization, including regular publications in quality outlets, professional presentations, and submission of external grant proposals. Service on dissertation committees is expected, as well as representation of the discipline and department via committee participation and other relevant service activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate in Educational Psychology, Gifted Education, or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered as long as the doctorate is successfully defended prior to the start date.
