Assistant Professor (continuing, non tenure-track)
Chemistry and Biochemistry
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for the position of continuing, non tenure-track assistant professor. The appointment will commence September 1, 2010. The position will involve teaching general chemistry, primarily in Honors classes for life sciences and engineering majors.
We seek candidates holding a Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry who have a demonstrated record of successful teaching experience and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Interest in developing innovative/student-centered instructional methods, and broad knowledge in the sciences will be considered assets.
