Established in 1977, and located in the oasis city of Al Ain, UAE University is one of the leading
comprehensive universities in the region, with significant research output and a strong community
engagement mission. The University was ranked in the world’s top 50 universities under 50 years old.
More than 14,000 students are enrolled in the University’s nine colleges and are supported by more
than 600 Ph.D. faculty members and 320 instructors (with Master’s Degrees). The University offers a
broad array of undergraduate and graduate Degree Programs.

The College of Education (http://www.cedu.uaeu.ac.ae/en/) includes four academic departments:
Curriculum & Methods of Instruction, Foundations of Education, Physical Education, and Special
Education. The college offers undergraduate degrees to prepare teachers in the primary grades,
master of education degrees for school and curriculum leaders, and a doctoral program for research
and advanced study. Highly qualified, research-active, faculty members are drawn from all over the
world.
