The University at Buffalo department of Undergraduate Education seeks to hire a Clinical Instructor (10 month) within the UB Curriculum: General Education office (UBC). This is a full-time academic-year commitment, non-tenure track position.
The Clinical Instructor will serve as a primary instructor for UBC 399: UB Curriculum Capstone. The UBC Capstone is a one-credit virtual course in which students create a reflective and integrative ePortfolio based on holistic learning in college coursework and lived experiences outside of the formal classroom. The UBC Capstone Clinical Instructor will teach sections of UBC 399 during the fall, winter and spring terms. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and revising course materials, contributing to the continuous improvement of the course, overseeing student support for the course, ensuring course assessment is conducted, participate in conversations related to the UB Curriculum and students success as well as oversight of course eMentors and instructors.
