The Bucknell University Department of Education seeks applications for a Tenure Track position, to begin August 2018. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. or ABD in Literacy Language and Culture in Multilingual Settings, or a related field, with secondary supervision experience, by August 2018. Although we are seeking an assistant professor, we will consider other exceptional candidates at higher ranks as well. A record of excellent teaching and supervision experience at the university level is preferred. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses relating to the field of language and culture in multilingual settings, secondary education, classroom assessment, and secondary student teacher supervision. The successful candidate is expected to produce strong scholarship in the field of secondary education and supervision, language and culture, ELL education, or related fields. We seek a teacher-scholar with a demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse student body and one who is committed to integrating diversity and equity issues into the curriculum.
