We seek a colleague to join a collaborative, pragmatic group of literacy scholars and teacher educators who are committed to transforming reading, writing, and literacy instruction in P-12 settings. Candidates should be willing to work as part of a team of literacy and teacher educators to serve and support innovative educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. These programs include GSEs nationally recognized Teacher Residency program and a growing initial teacher preparation program (UB Teach) as well as an established Literacy Specialist (Birth-Grade 12) masters program. These programs are delivered through in-person and fully online courses.

Responsibilities include:
Teaching four courses per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level in initial teacher certification and/or Masters literacy programs
Serving the institution and the profession
Advising and mentoring Literacy Specialist Masters and initial certification students

Appointments are for a ten-month academic year beginning in the Fall of 2025.

For full consideration, please submit your materials by January 15, 2025. The position will remain open until filled.
