The Instructional Designer will be providing multi-tiered support for NIU online and hybrid courses by collaborating with faculty and departments, applying program framework requirements, and assessing the design quality of courses. This position will develop and maintain media and support the use of innovative media technologies which foster student engagement and promote inclusive teaching and learning.
The Instructional Designer will report to the Director of Instructional Design and Development.
