The Department of Learning Technologies at the University of North Texas in Denton invites applications for a 9-month appointment as a lecturer. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach courses in the field of Learning Technologies with an emphasis in Instructional Technologies, Computer Education and Cognitive Systems or Educational Computing. The faculty member will normally teach the equivalent of four courses per long semester at the master’s or undergraduate level. There may also be an opportunity to teach additional courses in the summer that would be reimbursed separately from the normal lecturer salary per department and university policy. Lecturers also participate in department activities and may serve on departmental and college committees. This position will support the skills needed in the areas of computer graphics, web authoring, digital audio, video production, and production design.
