The Department of Counseling & Higher Education seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2019, Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include, but are not limited to teaching Counseling Program master's-level CACREP core classes or electives and/or undergrad counseling associate studies minor program classes
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in counseling or counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program is required.
Doctoral degree in counseling or counselor education from a CACREP-accredited program is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in counseling or counselor education program; TX Licensed Professional Counselor and/or certified school counselor; TX LPC-Supervisor
