The Department of Leadership Studies (DLS) is dedicated to preparing transformative education leaders across K-20 who are committed to issues of equity and social justice in education The Department of Leadership Studies in the USF School of Education invites applications for an adjunct faculty position.

At this point we are seeking candidates with expertise in the area of higher education
Qualifications include an earned doctorate in Higher Education or a field closely related.

Classes meet on a Teaching weekend schedule. Courses are also offered during Intercession and throughout the Summer.

Full Job Description:

We are seeking part time faculty with experience as a Higher Ed practitioner.

All courses in the department are taught from a critical perspective with a commitment to social justice.

Instructor will be responsible for teaching a fully-developed course with a set curriculum, developed syllabus, and established course content.

Preferred candidates will have experience teaching at the graduate level particularly for the following courses. Required doctorate degree in related field

  • Race Diversity and Higher Education
  • Organizational Theory and Development
  • Academic and Student Affairs
  • American Institutions of Higher Education
