The Department invites applications for an appointment at the Assistant Professor rank to begin Fall, 2022. The position is for an applicant with expertise in quantitative methodology.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of the department and growing the graduate programs in Research Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics (doctoral) and Research and Evaluation Methodology (master’s) through research, teaching, and mentoring of students. Instructional roles may primarily include teaching graduate level courses in research methodology, including quantitative analysis and research design/methods.
Traditional, online, and teaching at satellite sites may be required.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop or continue an ongoing scholarship agenda in quantitative methodology. Expected scholarship includes regular publications in quality outlets, professional presentations, and submission of external grant proposals.
Service on dissertation committees is expected both in the department and across the college, as well as representation of the discipline and department via committee participation and other relevant service activities.
