The Department of Teacher Education and Administration seeks a Visiting Professor of Educational Leadership, non-tenure track. This appointment, which begins in Fall 2019, is a non-tenure track, one-year appointment (with the possibility of renewal) at a salary that is competitive and commensurate with rank and experience. All standard University of North Texas, College of Education, and relevant Department of Teacher Education and Administration faculty personnel rules and procedures apply to this position.
Responsibilities include teaching four courses each semester of the academic year (fall and spring) or the equivalent. The instructional assignments may include courses in the M.Ed., Ed.D. and/or Ph.D. program areas, project leader of assigned special projects, lead instructor, committee member and/or co-chair of doctoral dissertation committees. Summer school teaching is possible dependent on budget and demand.
Qualified candidates will have an earned doctoral degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours in educational leadership or a closely related field (e.g., educational policy or administration).
