The Department of Educational Psychology invites applications for an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2022. The position is for an applicant with broad expertise in human development and family science (HDFS). This is a non-tenure track, multi-year appointment which is renewed annually during an initial period pending satisfactory performance evaluation. Multi-year contracts are possible following this initial period. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and background.
The successful candidate will engage in both teaching and research in the department.
The teaching role will consist of teaching undergraduate or graduate courses across the HDFS curriculum. These courses could be in traditional or online formats and may be on the UNT campus or at satellite locations.
The research role will focus on creating and facilitating interdisciplinary teams to pursue external funding opportunities. As such, the successful candidate should possess strong communication and team-building skills to facilitate grant writing, development, and implementation across a range of research-related areas.
