The University is embarking on an ambitious plan, Enterprise 25, to place People, Programs and Precincts at the heart of the University’s operations. UniSA Education Futures is a new Academic Unit focused on developing education professionals who will play a crucial role in the learning and development of children, young people and adults. UniSA Education Futures offers a range of degrees and conducts world leading research in the fields of teaching, learning sciences, education technology, literacy and languages.
About the Job

The Dean of Research will lead the development and delivery of the strategy for high-quality research within UniSA Education Futures; deliver research plans, activities and reporting of the research centres, concentrations and groups within the Unit and ensure continuous improvement in the quality, relevance, impact and growth of local, national and international research collaborations.
We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide high-level strategic leadership and to foster research innovation in a unique and enterprising university setting. An individual with a distinguished research profile in a discipline area that complements the research strengths and direction of UniSA Education Futures, will find the role an opportunity to shape the future direction of the research agenda and position UniSA Education Futures for the decades ahead.
The successful candidate will be a strategic and visionary leader with an outstanding record of achievement in strengthening research outcomes within an increasingly competitive international higher education environment.
