Mathematics Non-Tenure Track Instructor
Pending budgetary approval, the Program of Mathematics and Statistics at Louisiana Tech University anticipates filling a non-tenure-track instructor position, commencing September 1, 2021. A successful candidate is expected to teach mathematics courses that serve general education requirements, elementary education majors, and/or first-year engineering and science majors. Candidates must possess excellent teaching credentials as well as a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in mathematics and/or statistics by the start date.
The Program of Mathematics and Statistics is housed in the College of Engineering and Science, whose vision is to be a world leader in integrating engineering and science in education and research. The College opened a new $40M integrated engineering and science education facility in November 2019 and is undertaking an aggressive recruiting campaign to attract culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber.
