The Department of Teacher Education and Administration (TE&A) in the College of Education at The University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Educational Leadership beginning Fall 2021 semester. Of particular interest to the College of Education are candidates who are committed to improving people’s lives through powerful learning, social-emotional wellness, physical health, civic engagement, and anti-racist education.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach doctoral and masters courses (offered at the UNT campus and other off-site locations and online); advise graduate students and supervise students in internships as needed; serve on and chair doctoral committees; maintain an active research agenda; seek grant funding; and provide service to the Department, College, University, community constituencies, and professional organizations. Summer teaching is contingent on student demand and funding.
