Position: Adjunct Assistant Professor/Elementary Ed. Reading Specialist  Department: Elementary and Secondary Education

Status: (Part-time adjunct)

Special Qualifications

In keeping with the President’s commitment to Tuskegee University demonstrating "Excellence in Every Way", the ideal Adjunct Assistant Professor of Reading will possess the willingness to use his or her expertise to assist in the university’s efforts to be a sustainable academic organization committed to excellence.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teach two to three designated Reading content courses to Elementary Education majors Communicate and interact with students effectively and consistently Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and best practices

Qualifications

A Ph.D or Ed.D specializing in Reading Successful teaching experience at the P-12 level along with teaching experience within a multicultural environment

Salary
Commensurate with education, training and experience

Additional Position Information:

Travel limited to evaluation of field experiences associated with courses
This is a temporary position that will end on 11/30/2021
