Assistant Professor of Instruction, Curricular & Instructional Studies

A successful candidate will concentrate on special education with a TESOL focus and collaborate within the University and outreach to the community. Faculty responsibilities will focus on teaching graduate and undergraduate education courses within the Department of Curricular and Instructional Studies. This includes providing collaborative service, outreach and leadership within the University, professional organizations, and community organizations. - Doctorate in special education with a bilingual focus or closely related field or ABD (must obtain degree by start date – August 24, 2020)
- Evidence of successful teaching PreK-12 settings.
- Qualified for UA Graduate Faculty status and familiarity with standards-based education.
- Experience in TESOL and experience teaching at the university level.
