Job Description Summary
Teach undergraduate students in the area of Aviation Management; Develop distance education programs in the area of aviation management; Conduct research, development, and outreach activities in aviation and related fields; Work cooperatively with the State Department of Education, AABI, FAA and related industry agencies.
Doctorate in an appropriate, allied field related to Aviation or its equivalent at time of appointment; Experience with integration of technology in education and distance education; Demonstrated ability or potential for an active program of scholarly research; Demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in undergraduate instruction; Demonstrated ability to engage in program design activities; Evidence of successful grant activity; Excellent communication skills; Eligibility to work legally in the United States at the time of appointment and throughout the proposed term of employment.
Experience with undergraduate academic instruction; Commercial pilots license or appropriate experience in military aviation; Experience with instruction related to the Department of Defense; Experience in aviation curriculum development and evaluation.
