While this position description is not restricted to a particular content area (STEM, Literacy, or Special Education, for example) or certification range (secondary or primary), we invite applicants to consider their connections to our existing scholarship and training programs for undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and/or EdD students.

Required qualifications:

  • PhD in Education, Africana Studies, or related field/discipline by 8/1/22
  • Record of scholarly work in teaching and teacher education in Black Educational Traditions, including, but not limited to, the Black Radical Tradition, Black fugitivity, Critical Race Theory, and Black Feminisms
  • Experience preparing educators (for public K-12 schools, with community organizations, through traditional or alternative pathways, or other)
