Job Description Summary
This class employs a learner-centered approach to learning, meaning that the students take an active role in the learning and direction of the class. In this format, class time will be used for lecture/discussion/presentation, active/engaged student learning, and assessments. The class meets three (3) times per week. The format will be: 1-New Topic Introduction/Review, 2-Application Practice (Lab), 3- New Topic Introduction/Review with possible mini lab and/or quiz. This class will utilize a hybrid delivery format in which introductory information about theories and concepts will be delivered both outside of class via assigned readings, videos, research, observations, meetings, etc. and through lecture/discussion with the instructor. Students are expected to do work outside of class as a means to prepare for in-class activities and assessments.
