    POSITION: Clinical Lecturer in Elementary Mathematics Education. This is a nine-month, non-tenure track position in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching beginning August 2025. The faculty member will teach undergraduate courses for the elementary and early childhood education program in mathematics education. Additionally, they will supervise undergraduate teacher candidates during their clinical residency. The position necessitates familiarity with elementary and early childhood mathematics content as well as evidence-based practices for the K-6 classroom. A successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teach elementary/early childhood education courses and develop curriculum with other elementary education program faculty. Additional experience teaching secondary mathematics education (i.e., middle or high school) is desired, but not required.

    The Department of Curriculum and Teaching is housed in the College of Education. The department offers a range of master’s, educational specialist, and doctoral degrees in teacher education; career and technical education; and agriscience education.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Teach undergraduate classes in elementary and early childhood mathematics education

    • Supervise teacher candidates during clinical residency

    • Co-construct early childhood and elementary education curriculum aligned with state standards
