Expertise: His research interests include students of color persistence in postsecondary education, first generation students in graduate school, and historically black college and universities. Currently, Dr. Coaxum is teaching Leadership Theory, Action Research in Educational Leadership, and Diversity in Educational Leadership. He is the coordinator for Africana Studies in CHESS.
