Graham’s research interests center on the interactions between family and sport. His broader research questions examine how families approach working and parenting in sport. More specifically, his research looks at how coaches balance their work and family roles as well as at the involvement of parents in youth sport organizations. This research fits under the broader umbrella of human resource management and organizational behavior, but also addresses broader cultural issues about changes in fathering expectations, family functionality, youth development, and college and youth sport policies. As additional research interests, Graham has done work looking at financial aspects of sport, as well as environmental sustainability in the sport industry.
