Dr. Shin’s research interests are in the areas of cross-cultural marketing in sport, acculturation process in sport consumer behavior, globalization of sport, and a quantitative research methodology. He has delivered papers at various national and international conferences which include the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM), the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS), the Sport Marketing Association (SMA), and the Sport & Recreation Law Association (SRLA).
