Dr. Riegel’s primary research interests are in the fields of educational technology and teacher preparation, where she has focused on the impact of various instructional technologies on student engagement, digital citizenship, online learning, and teacher leadership. She has published her work in journals including Journal of Technology and Teacher Education, Teacher Education and Practice, Critical Issues in Teacher Education, Educational Planning Journal, and Mathematics Teacher Education (NYSATE-NYACTE), and Association for Independent Liberal Arts Colleges for Teacher Education (AILACTE).
