The field of educational leadership and policy studying the role of leaders at different levels of seniority as actors in facilitating systemic reform within schools and multi-school groups. He is also interested in research that considers the complexity of leaders' work and the ways in which they seek to establish, manage and sustain improvement at school, organisational and system level.
