Anne's research currently reflects her interests in:
social and emotional development in childhood
the role of educational and child care settings in child development
social and educational conditions of disablement
the role of teacher education in developing teachers of the future
Anne's research interests strongly inform her teaching, and she actively fosters an interest in research and scholarship in her work with students.
Anne is currently supervising Honours and Doctoral students who are completing studies of:
social adjustment and early school transition of children with specific language impairment
development of social and emotional learning programs in schools
approaches to the teaching of physical education in the primary school
approaches to the teaching of indigenous issues in educational programs
