Dr. Morgan's research interests are in the areas of gender, colonialism, and imperialism in the British Empire; the writing of Canadian history at a popular level in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Ontario; and the links between gender, culture, and national identities. She has just completed two book manuscripts on the history of commemoration and memory in Canada.
