Expertise: I am the coordinator of the learning disabilities licensure program in Special Education. After working in the public school system as a special education teacher for ten years, I eventually obtained my doctorate in Educational Psychology here at the University of Minnesota in July of 2008. While working on my doctorate, I accepted a teaching position at U of M where I continue to serve in that capacity today. My interests include adolescent literacy and effective teacher preparation.
