Expertise: My research interests include cultural differences and substance use among Latino adolescents and emerging adults. I am also interested in the substance use behaviors and consequences among college students. Currently, I am working on a project developing a parent-based prevention program for incoming college students to reduce risk for problematic alcohol use and alcohol related sexual assault.
