Dr. Bickmore's research includes principal leadership in charter and middle schools, the professional development of practicing principals, and the principal's role in induction. Her research appears in national and international journals, such as the Journal of School Leadership, Teaching and Teacher Education, and the International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation, as well in several edited books. Dr. Bickmore has served as a member and officer in national practitioner and research organizations and currently sits on several national and international journal editorial boards.
