Dr. Jowett Hirst’s primary research interests include children's preference for interventions and parent training; however, she is also interested in treatments for veterans with PTSD and animal training. Her clinical populations of interest include children with and without developmental disabilities and their parents. She currently collaborates with a variety of local child development centers and preschools and will be starting collaborations with several local clinics that provide medical services for children.
