The two major areas of my current research are educational technology (e-learn and digital literacy theories and practice in K-12 classrooms) and global literacy (focusing on literacy education issues both in the US and in China). As the coordinator of China programs at the School of Education and Human Services, I have supervised numerous international projects and programs in the areas of ESL teacher training, joint Master’s Degree of Arts in Teaching Reading and Language Arts, and K-12 school teachers and students international-cultural exchange.
