Her research interests are in mathematics education, with an emphasis on rational numbers and early algebra. She has also worked as an evaluator and measurement consultant on a number of educational interventions and assessments. Her recent projects have included the development and implementation of online teacher professional development in elementary and middle school mathematics content, student learning and use of fractions, and pre-service teachers' beliefs about mathematics and mathematics instruction.
