Dr. Christopher Harrington currently serves as Founder and Director of Strategic Development at the Institute for Teaching and Leading, LLC and Chief Executive Officer of Harrington Education Associates, LLC. Dr. Harrington most recently served as President of eLearn Institute, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation), and he has experience assisting dozens of school districts across the nation in the design and implementation of blended, online, and personalized learning programs.
Dr. Harrington has also earned CETL certification from the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification is awarded to K-12 education technology leaders who demonstrate mastery in the knowledge and skills needed to define the vision for and successfully build 21st century learning environments in school districts.
Dr. Harrington also serves as a professor for Immaculata University teaching courses relating to teacher supervision, professional development, school law, school community relations, doctoral research, technology leadership, instructional technology integration, and network infrastructure. He has worked on local, regional, and national committees with iNACOL and various other education-based organizations aimed at transforming education through the use of technology. Dr. Harrington also served as a reviewer of virtual school applications for the Colorado Department of Education.
Dr. Harrington has served in the Pennsylvania public school system as a teacher, an administrator, and a consultant for 26 years. He has earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University, and he currently holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, an Assistant Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility, a K12 Principal Certificate, and an Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate.
