Ellie Fitts Fulmer, M.Ed., Ed.D., is an educator with ten years experience working for urban schools and organizations. Before coming to Ithaca College, Dr. Fulmer most recently worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Da Vinci Science Center, in Allentown, PA, where she managed a large scale multi-year STEM teacher professional development program in partnership with area colleges and the Allentown School District, and funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. She has taught Master of Education courses in literacy methods and multicultural education at the University of Pennsylvania and Moravian College. Recently earning a doctorate of education from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Fulmer’s dissertation was centered on multicultural, anti-racist teacher education in working with White teachers.
