Job Description: The School of Education, Human Performance, and Health seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant level for the Exercise and Sport Science program. The successful candidate for this position will have the ability to teach courses in exercise and sport science, including introductory exercise science courses, exercise physiology, and athletic training in a collegial and cooperative environment.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a doctoral degree in Exercise Science (or closely related field); ABD candidates with planned completion dates by August 15, 2019 will be considered. A demonstrated interest in teaching exercise science courses and an emerging research agenda, with presentations and/or publications in exercise and sport science or related fields also required. A successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Appropriate professional certifications (ACSM, NSCA) and the ability to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
