The College of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, a divisional four-year campus of West Virginia University located in Beckley, WV seeks to hire a 9 month full-time Lecturer of Athletic Coaching Education. We are seeking an outstanding teacher to complement the faculty in the Department of Sport Studies. The major responsibility will include teaching 12 undergraduate hours per semester. Additional responsibilities include student advising, committee assignments, participation in professional development, attending regularly scheduled faculty and departmental meetings, and other duties as assigned by the Department Chair.

Rank/Salary: Salary commensurate with qualifications.

A Master’s degree in Athletic Coaching Education, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or closely related field.
A minimum of one year of teaching and/or coaching on the collegiate level.
Experience with teaching Web courses is desirable.
