The Department of Learning and Educational Leadership in the College of Education at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a full-time Associate Professor position in Educational Leadership. The Department seeks a scholar with a strong record of teaching, research, and service who can contribute to the growth of our graduate and undergraduate programs.
Responsibilities include: • Teach undergraduate courses. • Teach graduate-level courses in the Master’s and Doctoral programs in Educational Leadership. • Advise and mentor Master’s and Doctoral students, including supervision of graduation projects, theses and dissertations. • Maintain an active agenda of scholarly research and publication in educational leadership and related fields. • Pursue external funding through grant writing and research collaborations. • Establish interdisciplinary partnerships with other academic units within the College, country, and internationally. • Build and sustain partnerships with schools and educational organizations. • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement. • Provide service to the department, college, university, and the broader educational community. • Organize and facilitate professional workshops for university and community stakeholders.
• An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership or a closely related field from an accredited and highly reputable institution. • A strong record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, preferably Scopus-indexed Q1 and Q2 journals. • Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level. • Demonstrated experience in advising graduate students and supervising dissertations/theses. • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service. • Proficiency in English language.
• Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus. • Knowledge and experience with the UAE culture and education system is a plus.
