    Jackson State University is seeking a dynamic Postdoctoral Researcher for an exciting opportunity at the intersection of Learning Sciences, Psychology, and AI Pedagogy.

    We are looking for an ambitious candidate with a strong desire to secure a faculty position and make significant contributions to the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in the U.S. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Human Development, or a related field.

    Experience in research on skill development, particularly in higher-order cognitive skills, and its assessment is crucial. Proficiency in designing research experiments, data collection, and statistical analysis to explore the relationship between AI-based instructional interventions and learning outcomes is essential. The role demands excellent communication and writing skills in English. Having experience focused on AI-driven educational strategies would be a significant advantage.

    The selected candidate will be part of an innovative research team at the forefront of exploring and implementing cutting-edge pedagogical strategies to enhance student learning outcomes in STEM. This includes developing higher-order cognitive skills through advanced educational technologies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education.
