The relationships that students form with mathematics, investigating the influence of their in- and out-of-school experiences. She has a particular interest in exploring students' gendered relationships with the subject area and the ways in which gender-related research in mathematics education is conducted. Furthermore, in her research, Jennifer investigates university mathematics students' experiences in mathematics programs and departments, as well as pre-service teachers' views of and experiences with numeracy, including the LANTITE test.
